Now in our fourth decade, Peter Parts Electronics is a large supplier of electronic parts and assemblies here in North America. We got that way in this exceedingly competitive business by supplying our customers with very high quality parts at very competitive prices, and delivering some of the most extraordinary customer service in the solar system.
We stay that way by constantly trying to get better at what we do, and by listening carefully to our customers, our suppliers and our employees. We have fully staffed offices in New York, California and China. We also have a warehouse in California and more than 20 rep offices across all of North America. Our sophisticated customer support systems include a shipment tracking system that can identify the status of any of our shipments anywhere in the world, plus a JIT system that is the salvation of our customers and the envy of our competitors.
Peter Parts started Peter Parts Electronics in 1986 after spending nearly a decade in the electronic business with other companies. In that time Peter had traveled in the Far East and had come to know many electronics parts manufacturers. Many of these companies were highly respected in their part of the world but virtually unknown in the U.S. Most of these companies had been selling private label parts in the U.S., because that is what their distributors wanted them to sell. No one knew them by name. And no one would sell their parts under the original manufacturer's true brand name.
In 1986 Peter started Peter Parts Electronics. Many of Peter’s early customers were looking for reliable manufacturers in the Far East, but didn’t know where to look. And many Far Eastern manufacturers wanted to sell parts with their own brand on them. Peter thought it was a great idea - imagine, starting a business that not only found the best manufacturers, but was forthcoming with his customers with names, data, samples, and JIT delivery of these great companies around the world.
Peter’s hundreds of customers in North America and his hundreds of contacts in the Far East were all looking for a way to talk to each other, but didn’t know how. Working initially 31 years ago from a tiny office in Webster, NY, a Rochester suburb, Peter made it easy for them to work together, along with the credibility and trustworthiness that he and his company are now legendary for. Now they are working with 100’s of customers, and over 80 manufacturers.
Now in their fourth decade of supplying great quality from some of the best manufacturers around the world, the rest, as they say, is history!
